Overview

Egg value is a mix of pool quality, cost, and production difficulty. This tier list ranks every egg type on those three factors so you can spend coins and time where they pay off.

Ranked:S to D
Top Pick:Thunder (Early)
Top Pick:Fortune (Late)
Avoid:Growth Egg

Egg Value Reasoning

Watch the full-guide creator explain why certain eggs are worth farming and others are traps — the value logic carries across every patch.

How Egg Tiers Work

An egg's tier comes from three questions: how good is its rarity pool, how much does it cost, and how easily can you produce it. A cheap egg with a good pool beats an expensive egg with a slightly better pool.

Production difficulty matters more than price — an egg you can farm for free beats a shop egg you must buy, even with a marginally worse pool.

The Egg Tier List

Ranked by value per coin and time. Tiers shift with patches, but the archetype logic stays stable.

TierEggWhy
SThunder EggBest early pool, free to produce
SFortune EggMythic to Secret pool, self-sustaining
ARoyal EggLegendary to Mythic, Fortune gateway
AVoid EggCosmic pool from a simple producer
BArena EggStrong mid-game fighters
BCircuit EggHigh Celestial chance
CCursed EggSecret pool, but long production chain
DNest EggOnly for the very first fighters
DGrowth EggUnobtainable — never target it
⚠️ This is a value ranking — the 'best' egg still depends on your stage and roster.

The S-Tier Eggs

Two eggs stand above the rest: Thunder for the early game and Fortune for the endgame. Both are free to produce and hold pools worth farming.

If you only remember two eggs from this list, remember these.

Thunder Egg

Rare to Legendary pool, produced by common chickens — the best value in the game.

Fortune Egg

Mythic to Secret pool, produced by the Founder Rooster and self-sustaining via the Goose.

Royal Egg

The mid-game gateway — Legendary to Mythic fighters and the Fortune Egg chain.

Void Egg

The cosmic pool from the Astral Chick producer.

💡 The Growth Egg is currently unobtainable — any list that recommends it is outdated.

How to Read the List by Stage

The tier list is a snapshot; your stage decides which tier you should actually farm. These are the stage-to-egg matches.

Progress through the tiers in order and you will never waste a coin on a pool above or below your roster.

1

First hour — Nest Eggs

Only for the starting roster — switch to Thunder the moment you can.

2

Early game — Thunder Eggs

Your main farm until Arena and Royal hatches outclass it.

3

Mid game — Arena and Royal

Strong fighters for Tower pushes and the Fortune gateway.

4

Late game — Void, Fortune, Cursed

Cosmic fighters, then the two secrets.

💡 Don't farm a tier above your stage — an expensive egg you cannot use yet is a coin sink.

Egg Value Mistakes

Most egg-related waste comes from a few repeatable mistakes. Avoid them and your coin-to-pool ratio stays healthy.

The theme: farm cheap eggs you can produce, buy expensive ones only when their pool matches your goal.

  • Buying shop eggs for pools you can produce for free
  • Farming an egg whose pool is below your current roster
  • Skipping the Thunder Egg stage entirely
  • Chasing the unobtainable Growth Egg
  • Mass-opening before your coop can hold the volume

When Tiers Change

Balance patches can rotate egg pools and add new eggs, which reshuffles the tiers. The Thunder and Fortune eggs have stayed S-tier through multiple patches because their pools and production costs are that good.

The safe habit: recheck the in-game index after every update and compare the pool against your roster before spending. Our egg list is updated to match.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best egg in the tier list?

Thunder Eggs for the early game and Fortune Eggs for the endgame are the S-tier picks — both are free to produce with excellent pools.

Which eggs should I avoid?

Nest Eggs past the first hour and the unobtainable Growth Egg. Also avoid shop eggs when you can farm the same pool for free.

Why is the Thunder Egg S-tier?

It has a Rare to Legendary pool, is produced by common chickens, and stays relevant from minute ten to the mid-game.

Is the Cursed Egg worth its low tier?

Its pool is excellent but the production chain is long — farm it only when you are ready for the 404 Chick hunt.

How often do egg tiers change?

With balance patches and new egg releases. Recheck the in-game index after every update.

Should I buy eggs from the shop?

Only when the pool matches an active goal — like a secret hunt — and you cannot produce the volume fast enough.

What is the best early-game egg?

The Thunder Egg. Hatch it for Rare to Legendary fighters and the Astral Chick that opens the Void chain.

Where can I see current egg pools?

Our egg list documents every egg type with its known pool.
